We had an awesome time staying here with friends! We explored the nearby market and took part in one of the best walking tours in the area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and it had a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Just a tip, check which rooms you're getting for quieter stays.
We had a disruptive experience one morning due to loud noises outside our room, which really interrupted our sleep. It could be improved.

Unique, unique, unique
I had the most delightful stay in a cozy and historic setting. The room was a vibrant mix of classic Victorian decor and modern comforts, making it feel special. Plus, the breakfast featured a City Gents' option that was simply delicious—a perfect start to my day!

We loved staying at this fantastic pub with our family and our non-service dog. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming for all ages, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in London! The staff were super friendly and accommodating.
My kids wished there were more outdoor play options for them. A small fenced-in area would be great for families traveling with pets.

Ideal stay for families
Had a super spacious room with a fantastic mini bar stocked with high quality drinks and snacks. The staff were friendly and they even had the good back bacon for breakfast that I savored-picture me, sitting there, enjoying it with a cup of proper tea.
It wasn’t cheap, but it was still acceptable for the experience you get.

The historic ambiance combines a rustic charm with modern comforts that’s hard to find elsewhere. Luxurious copper bathtubs in specific rooms offer a delightful escape after a long day.
The dim lighting in the rooms can catch you off guard, making it a task to find stuff without using a phone flashlight. There’s a lack of drawers or shelves for storage, leading to a cluttered feel with the minibar items taking up valuable space. The bathroom plumbing leaves a bit to be desired. showers might spray in all directions, and strange noises from the toilet can be a bit unsettling. The lack of a cold mini-fridge is also a letdown for those hoping to chill some drinks.

I stayed in a Double Room for 2 nights. The decor was charming with cozy wooden panels, really brought the place to life. The bathroom had a nice clawfoot tub which was great for a soak. But those narrow stairs could be tricky if you’ve got lots of bags. Overall comfy and felt like a little escape.

comfortable stay with minor quirks
The Market Suite felt welcoming with its cozy lounge and rooftop terrace. The manager provided excellent service, especially when guiding us to a nice booth for dinner.
Entering the suite through the bathroom was a bit unusual.
